Rental Policies

Prices, equipment availability, and rental policies subject to change without notice.

General Policies

Photo ID and/or Current Driver’s license is required at the time of pick-up.

You must be 18yrs old or older to rent. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Individuals named on the contract are required to submit credit card information and a deposit at the time of reservation and/or rental.

Payment in full for all rentals is due at the time of reservation.

Cancellation Policies

Cancellations made within 48 hours or more of pick-up date: customers will receive a 100% refund.

Cancellations within 48 hours or less of scheduled pick-up will not receive any refund.

There are no refunds for inclement weather returns or early returns for non-usage.

Individual named on the contract must be present at the time of pick-up or equipment will not be released.

Check- in Procedures

Equipment must be returned within 1-hour of the time and date listed on your contract. Returns later than 1-hour of the listed time will incur a late fee. A cleaning fee of $5.00 per equipment will be collected if they are not returned in the same condition they left. You will be charged for equipment that is dirty, damaged, or missing, up to and including the cost to replace such equipment at the current equipment costs, regardless of the age of the equipment

Equipment left unattended (during Closed hours) will be charged a $25.00 fee regardless of the reason unless arrangements are made before hand with a staff member. Should the equipment be lost or stolen while left unattended, the renter will be responsible for all replacement costs at full retail prices

Equipment Damage: Rental Fees do not cover any portion of damages to equipment. Any damaged equipment interfering with the rental or reservation of another will be charged the entire cost of the other rental in addition to all equipment repair and/or replacement costs

Late Fees

If you think you are going to be more than 30 minutes late you need to call 904-881-3779 and let us know. If more than 30 minutes late and no call we will call you. If no answer and more than 30 minutes late a $50 per hour for recovery time will be charged to your Credit card. If not found/ returned or contacted us by the end of the day the Authorities will be notified.

Late fees are assessed at 1.5 times the daily rate for each day the equipment is not returned- including holidays and closed dates. If more than 3 days the total replacement cost will be charged. This is strictly enforced as it jeopardizes another person’s trip. Any late equipment affecting another person’s rental will be charged the entire cost of the other rental

Rental Waiver and Release of Liability

Dontforgettolive Life Experiences & Tours

In consideration with the permission granted by Dontforgettolive Life Experiences & Tours to rent its Paddle Boards, I, the undersigned renter, hereby state that I understand and agree with the following:

 

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

 

I understand that there are potential risks involved in renting the Paddle Boards, which may include but not limited to (a) physical injury or illness of the person using the Paddle Boards, (b) property loss or damage which is owned by anyone who uses the Paddle Boards, and (c) death of the person using the Paddle Boards as a result of anyone’s negligence. I acknowledge these risks, including unknown risks, and I take full responsibility for the liabilities of the incidents that may occur while using the Paddle Boards during my rental period.

 

FITNESS TO RENT

 

I certify that I am in my best physical and mental condition as of the execution of this Waiver and that I confirm that I am fit to rent the Paddle Boards.

 

WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION

 

I shall hold harmless and indemnify Dontforgettolive Life Experiences & Tours and/or its officers, employees, and volunteers against any and all claims, demands, or obligations arising in connection with my rental of the Paddle Boards.

 

ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS

 

I acknowledge that Dontforgettolive Life Experiences & Tours brief me about its rental rules and regulations, and I agree to abide by them.
